Archive Forever
Arweave is a permanent storage protocol. Unlike IPFS (which requires active pinning), Arweave stores data forever through a one-time payment. The data is replicated across a decentralized network of miners who are economically incentivized to keep it available for 200+ years.
How Arweave Works
Arweave is a blockchain-based storage network. When you upload data, you pay a small one-time fee in AR tokens. Miners store the data and are rewarded from an endowment fund that mathematically guarantees over 200 years of storage — assuming storage costs continue to decline (as they have for 50+ years).
Data on Arweave is immutable — once uploaded, it cannot be modified or deleted. This makes it the ultimate backstop: even if every IPFS node goes offline, every Tor mirror shuts down, and our domain is seized — the Arweave archive persists.
How You Can Help
Archive Episodes
Upload individual episodes (audio + metadata) to Arweave. Each episode costs approximately 0.01–0.05 AR depending on file size (~$0.10–$0.50 at current prices).
Archive the Full Site
Upload the entire static build of Rev Now to Arweave. This preserves the complete listening experience — episodes, show notes, the player, everything. Costs approximately 0.1–0.5 AR for the full site.
Fund Archival
Donate AR tokens to our archival wallet and we'll handle the uploads. Even small amounts help — 1 AR can archive dozens of episodes.
